ECB and AMLA sign agreementon cooperation

On 3 July 2025, the European Central Bank (ECB) announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the European Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA).

The MoU has been concluded as part of the new EU anti-money laundering package and fulfils the legal requirement under Article 92(3) of the Regulation establishing the AMLA for AMLA and the ECB to establish a supervisory cooperation agreement.
